Some of the units you could practically live in – not only are they spacious but climate controlled.  And who would have known there are many options to choose from.  I have never used a storage unit, but the advice on the street is to make sure the facility is reputable.  Choose a company that has been in business a while, and check out ratings on the site as well as social networks.  The professionalism of the staff and cleanliness of the facility is also a sign of a reliable facility.  Also be sure to get all the fees up front, including any extra charges, such as insurance.  Many storage facilities offer special deals to new clients, such as a free month, so take your time to price shop.
